  • 1. The Siderise CW Fire Stop CW-FS 120 should be fitted under compression. ( Width of cavity + 10 % for compression fit ) Check for good compression.

  • 2. Width of Cavity : 20 - 50 mm = compression fit. Width of Cavity : 51-250mm 2no Brkts required.

  • 3. For all installations the cut strips are located with fixing brackets which are impaled into the material at mid-thickness, at nominal 600mm fixing centres i.e. 300mm from each end.

  • 4. The fixing brackets should be trimmed, if necessary, to approximately 75% of the cavity width. The standard fixing brackets are supplied in 1mm galvanised mild steel in flat form that is complete with a pre-notched facility for folding on site. All holes are to be site drilled to suit the varying site conditions.

  • 5. Check fixings are non combustible fixing. No plastic rawplugs.

  • 6. Where the product is fitted side by side the joint should firmly abutted and siderise specific foil taped. ( top only ) on horizontal application.
