Site Inspection

  • The site access is clear, clean, safe and unrestricted

  • The Site Safety Signs, including directional signs, are clear and precise

  • Large A.& .H Signs are on display

  • There is sufficient parking is available for contractors and visitors

  • There are safe Pedestrian Access routes from the site entrance to the welfare i.e. safe sub base, Barriers, signs, Halo Gates

  • The whole site is secure and all of the fencing / hoarding is in good order

  • There is Site Safety Access and Egress lighting in place

  • The Site Welfare is sufficient for the number of operatives on site and is being maintained in a clean, safe and tidy manner

  • All accidents, Incidents and Close calls are being recorded and reported to the management team and EHS team

  • F10 / Insurances / Law Poster / Policies are displayed within the site office

  • The Construction Phase Plan is available, is in date, is being reviewed and updated, where changes occur

  • All persons including visitors are being inducted using the correct induction procedures

  • Regular Tool Box Talks are carried out with the contractors and by the contractors, covering the associated works and hazards

  • Weekly team meetings are held with the contractors to discuss Health, Safety, Planning and programme

  • Daily safety briefings are held with or by the contractors, to discuss and review, the days scope of works, hazards and controls

  • Sufficient contractor manager and labour resources are available, including Black Hat Supervisors

  • Sufficient A&H manager and labour resources are available
