Outside inpsection

  • Inspect tires for damage or uneven wear. Schedule service if needed.<br>

  • Your truck has enough propane, enough fuel level, and DEF.

  • Does anything look unsightly or in disrepair?

Under Hood

  • Check engine oil level (full or not full)

  • Check transmission fluid level (full or not full)

  • Check brake fluid level (full or not full)

  • Check power steering fluid level (full or not full)

  • Check windshield wiper fluid level (full or not full)

Driver/Passenger Area Inspection

  • Check the effectiveness of windshield wipers and washers. If you don't have an extra pair, note it, and do not mark it as good.<br>

  • Inspect windows/mirrors for cracks

  • Test backup camera (make sure it's cleaned and leveled)

  • Test emergency brake

  • Test dashboard lights and AC/heating unit

  • Test radio

  • Is your phone holder available?

  • Is your fire extinguisher accessible and tag up to date?

Kitchen Inspection

  • Check operating refrigerators and freezers and meet temps (write all temps. If it's not functioning, then ETA explained.)

  • Do your trucks smell bad? Is this a consistent problem? What's the plan?

  • Are your truck's floors clean, including underneath your equipment?

  • Test all sinks hot/cold water is working

  • Are paper towels and soap stocked?<br>

  • Have you cleaned and organized the storage area under the sink? Did it leak?<br>

  • Test hood and exhausts fans

  • Have the AC/heating units in the test kitchen been tested? Also, have they been cleaned and are free from oil residue?<br>

  • Please check for any grease accumulation in the hood and ensure that it has been cleaned within the past 4 to 6 months.<br>

  • Inspect caulking of hood, sinks, and other caulked surfaces

  • Have you thoroughly cleaned both the inside and outside of your fryer? Make sure there is no built-up grease anywhere in the fryer.<br>

  • Inspect aesthetic kitchen damage.

  • Inspect functional kitchen equipment's (if it's necessary check fryers)

  • Inspect equipment to see if it is properly secured to the wall

  • Check all latches and handles

  • Check kitchen lights

  • Make sure to check and clean Health Box, while organizing items so your team knows what's stored.<br>

  • Does anything look unsightly or in disrepair?

Verify Truck has following items on board

  • Current registration (Laminated and each truck updated, truckers' food handler and DOT card, etc.) Missing any then note and done by when

  • Current insurance (Laminated and each truck must be undated)

  • Current DOT annual inspection

  • Up-to-date fire service tags on hood and extinguishers

  • Employee sickness procedure

  • Hand wash procedure sign

Generator

  • When you change the date, check the oil level (complete or not complete).

  • The filter has been changed?

  • When did you change the oil? And how many hours on the generator? Is that past the 1500-hour mark and required service?

  • Check coolant level (full or not complete)

  • Please check for any grease accumulation, as well as oil on the doors, floor, or generator.

  • Please ensure that all appliances and fans are turned on and tested at the beginning.<br>

  • Check and test the PTO Generator with all appliances on. It generates power for the kitchen.<br>

  • The PTO Generator runs with all appliances on

Utility Room/old truck check on those items if applies

  • Is the Utility Room clean? Sinks and water tank and conners

  • Test the water pump and check the debris on the filters

  • Test water heater

  • Is the inside of the swamp cooler and the filter clean in the new truck?

  • Is your thermostat set minimum at 45 degrees (new truck only and winter only)

  • Has Grey water been dumped?

  • Is water filled up?
