Elegibility

  • This assessment is only to be completed once an employee is eligible to be assessed - The employee must have successfully passed Pharmacy Assistant Level 1 - Stage 1 Assessment first

  • Is the employee eligible to be assessed? (See Employee Development Plan for more information)

  • Ensure the employee is aware they are about to engage in an assessment to determine if they are eligible to transition into Pharmacy Assistant Level 1 - Stage 3 Duties duties.

Stage 2 Assessment

Ordering

  • Complete a gap scan of an entire section

  • Generate and send sigma for the section you just gap scanned

  • Investigate all gaps you just scanned

  • Send a transfer request to your manager for all OOS lines

Demonstrate your ability to perform the following merchandising tasks

  • Re-merchandise a promo mesh from scratch

  • Please attach a photo

  • Look for the ability for the staff member to merchandise whilst keeping a theme to the mesh.

  • Re-merchandise the wrap from scratch

  • Please upload a photo

  • Look for the ability for the staff to merchandise vertically, keeping a theme to the bays. The staff member should have the ability to explain how products are chosen for the wrap.

  • Ensure x1 Sunglass stand is up to date, full, correct POS, signed properly and merchandised correctly

  • Please attach a photo

  • Look for the ability for a staff member to vertically merchandise sunglasses, have all appropriate POS and all signage in displayed correctly (including VPN)

  • Demonstrate your ability to merchandise Comfy shoes

  • Please attach photo

  • Look for the ability of the staff member to follow all aspects of the how to guide including; POS, planogram, price order, signage and stock volume.

  • Demonstrate your ability to merchandise Travel section

  • Demonstrate your ability to merchandise promo cosmetics

  • Look for the ability for staff to identify promo cosmetic lines, how to order these lines, how do we display f7 stickers on lines and what POS do we need.

  • Look for the ability of the staff member to merchandise whilst keeping a theme to the area. Staff must demonstrate the ability to have all top lines displayed and be able to check all new lines. In addition to this, they must be able to identify wrong and missing POS and change it accordingly.

Catalogue Check

  • Complete a catalogue check for one end

  • Complete a catalogue check for one mesh

  • Complete a catalogue check three clipstrips

  • Complete a catalogue check for one entire page of the catalogue

  • Look for the ability of the staff member to check all off locations (including tills, clipstrips, outside & radio). Staff will also have to show the ability to identify headers, wobblers, VPNs and size & colour of the sign.

  • Execute a POS check for one end and one mesh

  • Look for the ability for the staff member to first find the POS list in the current catalogue execution guide and complete a check from this

  • Execute a VPN check for NINE different offers

  • Look for the ability for the staff member to first find the list of VPN signs in the current catalogue and complete a check from this

  • Complete a wobbler check for FOUR offers

  • Look for the ability for the staff member to first find the list of offers in the current catalogue execution guide and complete a check from this. Compare the staff competentacy against the how to guide.

Executing a catalogue

  • Explain how to execute 1/2 price cosmetics

  • Explain how to take down a catalogue

  • Explain how to execute catalogue signs on W7

Demonstrate the following tasks

  • Take a script in

  • Look for the ability of the staff member to ask if the customer would like a Pharmacy Brand, they are able to use buzzers and timers and they are able to communicated expected wait times.

  • Complete a request for a S3 product

  • Look for the ability for the staff member to ask all 7 safety question, consult the pharmacist and give appropriate advice.

  • Hand out a script

  • Complete a Pseudo product request on Project Stop OR Codeine request

  • Add signature
