Part II - Primary Checklist

1. Mechanical Section [Motor/Pump]

  • a. Physical Status [Panel/Casing/Isolator Vibration/interface devices/Others]

  • b. Excessive Vibration / Noise [decibel]

  • c. Line Pressure [Pressure Gauge/Other Parameter]

  • d. Leaks [Liquid/Gas]

2. Electrical Section [Cabinet/Boards]

  • a. Cables free from damage & protected

  • b. Connections are properly made and used appropriate plugs

  • c. Guards are in place. Check for damages/crack

  • d. Panel/sub-panel/digital display in good condition [ELCB/RCD Protection]

  • e. No open or loose wires and connections

  • e. Smoke, fire detector, speakers, switches and sounder functionality

  • f. All fire fighting equipment unobstructed & extinguisher mounted on wall

3. Plumbing Section [Pipe Network]

  • a. Damaged/leak pipe

  • b. Sign of overflow and floor dampness

  • c. Sanitary ware and fixtures

4. Room Condition [Partly CIV]

  • a. Room temperature [ideal: 24'C] with proper ventilation.

  • b. Adequate Lighting/luminance

  • c. Doors and automatic door lock functionality

  • d. Ensure accessibility and avoid obstructions

  • Damaged or broken machine platforms/enclosures/Guards

  • e. Ceiling/Walls/Floors for cracks, gaps, holes [optional: painting]

5. Roof Top

  • a. Roof Surface is in good condition

  • b. Evidence of any water leak

  • c. Roof drains are cleared of trash to avoid blockage

6. QHSE

  • a. Ladders in good condition and inspected prior to do task. Do not use damaged ladders. Tag and removed from plant room

  • b. Ensure elevated or double height platform assembly in good condition

  • C. Availability of first aid kit, eye wash [consumption date]

  • d. Availability of respiratory mask, ear muff

  • e. Emergency sign in place and lightened

  • f. Unauthorized sign displayed

  • g. Dangerous, caution, PPE signs displayed

  • h. Lock-out and Tag-out sign available

  • i. Ensure availability of notice board for safety guidelines, emergency escalation, log sheets and SOP's

7. Housekeeping

  • a. Room floors free from dust, dampness, oil and grease

  • b. Ensure all flammable container properly closed/covered to control vapors

  • c. Clear-off excess or unwanted materials to avoid obstruction

  • d. No explosive materials stored

  • e. Ensure all flammable container properly closed/covered to control vapors

8. Scaffoldings and MEWP

  • a. Guardrails, toe-boards and cross-braces are installed

  • b. Wheel castors locked in position whilst in use

  • c. Sound, stable, rigid footing for scaffolding
