  • Make sure all rooms have been inspected and put on the system as inspected

  • Re-stock the storage rooms with white linen from the back so the HK have all the linen ready for next day.

  • Check the timeline for any split bookings to be together

  • Clean reception (vacuum and wipe down)

  • Empty rubbish and recycling bins from reception

  • Check that all surfboards have fins and leashes

  • Check reception fridge, stock fridge if items are running low. Notify manager if there are items low on stock to place order

  • Contact any reservations for today without an ETA and send out safe code if needed (start around 17:00)

  • Make sure all linen and towels are washed, folded and put away before the end of the day.

  • Turn off power for big washing machine and dryer

  • Go for a walk around the property and check all the storage rooms are closed and the lights are off.

  • Sweep bathrooms if sandy

  • Put a stop sell on mews at 19:30 Settings->Services->stay -> restrictions + -> today's date and today's date -> Create

  • Leave envelopes with keys and map/instructions for late arrivals in the safe

  • Print Guest list

  • Ensure the current safe code is written on the guest in house list for the night manager

  • Count till and balance with cashier report in MEWS

  • Close cashier shift on MEWS

  • Lock reception doors at 8:00PM

  • Close luggage room, if there are any bags left tag them and put them at the back with todays date. (we dont store bags overnight)

  • After reception closed, cash up banking and put money plus a note (with date, initials and value) in drop safe

  • Put cash till in safe

  • Sign of MEWS and Log off computer

  • Sign out of TANDA
