Preparation:

• Empty Storage bin

• Disconnect unit from the electrical supply

• Disconnect water supply

• Remove Ice Dispense Spout & 'sink' tray and clean as required before soaking in a sanitising solution until required later in the process

• Remove top panel

• Remove Left & Right panels as required to gain access to the water system. Remove Front panel for greater access if required

• Drain water system, reconnect hose when drained

• Inspect Internal water system hoses, clean or replace as required

Using the appropriate 'PPE' (Gloves, Specs etc):

• Prepare a 'De-scaling' solution at a ratio of 10%

• Fill the units water system with the solution

• Let the system now 'steep' for approx 10 minutes

• Run the machine for approx 5 minutes to agitate the solution inside the freezer assembly

• Drain 'solution' from the water system

• Refill and drain the water system 3 further times with fresh water

• Prepare a 'sanitising' solution at a ratio of 10%

• Fill the units water system with the solution

• Let the system now soak for approx 10 minutes

• Run the machine for approx 5 minutes to agitate the solution inside the freezer assembly

• Drain the 'solution' from the water system

• Refill & drain the water system a 3 further times with fresh water

NOTE - DO NOT MIX THE TWO SOLUTIONS !!!

• Remove the 'Vane' motor assembly and storage bin cover

• Clean the underside of the storage bin cover, clean/inspect the ice level sensor

• Remove the vane & the base conical cover (remember the save the washer)

• Clean the inside of the storage bin with a sanitiser solution. Clean the drain off point in the base

• Reassemble the vane drive assembly and storage bin area, remount the vane motor assembly

• Replace panels to unit and turn both electric & water supply on

• Whilst unit is on 'start-up' mode, clean around the dispense area, especially the 'polo' ring area.

• Pour warm solution into the tray area. Use long brush to clear drain off point

• Check unit drain Hose, replace as required

• Clean/wipe all external panels

• Refit 'sink' & 'spout' to unit

• Change water filter cartridge

• Discard the units first 15 minutes of ice produced as a safety precaution following the PM
