General Worksite: Has the site been established correctly and are items safe and tidy?

  • Correct PPE worn and available? Gum boots, Hi Viz, Wet Weather Equipment, Safety glasses, Respirators if applicable

  • Is the work-site clean and free of clutter?

  • Are Tools and Equipment being stored safely?

  • Is the Safety Chain in place and in good condition?

  • Is the Demarcation Gate between container and machine bay in place?

  • Are Heavy-Duty vehicle chocks available and in place?

  • Are barriers being used correctly for and in good condition?

  • Yellow Biosecurity waste bins are empty?

  • Drainage covers are in place and un-damaged?

  • Are drainage filters emptied and clear of blockages?

HAZNO Work Practises: Are chemicals stored and being used correctly?

  • Are the relevant SDS sheets available for the chemicals on site?

  • Emergency Contact/Procedure details are displayed on site?

  • Are the chemicals on site properly and safely stored, labelled and signage up?

  • Are leaks, spills or discharges from the site being controlled?

PLANT / EQUIPMENT: Are the following current and certified?

  • Are all electrical cords tested and tagged for compliance in the last 6 months?

  • Electrical tools tagged and certified by electrician in the last 6 months?

  • Are electrical cords in good condition with no obvious damage?

  • Is the Steam/water blaster in good repair with no obvious damage?

  • Are O rings between joints in Spray gun present and not leaking?
