General

 • ERSED - Do any erosion controls require maintenance or repair to prevent soil loss before the next rain event? e.g. whoa boys, rock lined drain

 • ERSED - Do any sediment controls require cleaning out or reinstating to prevent soil loss before the next rain event? e.g. sumps, sed fences, coir logs, etc

 • If outlet controls have failed / overtopped, have receiving water bodies been inspected and evidence collected ?
(Water Quality samples, GPS coordinates, photos)

 • Do ERSED controls need cleaning out or to be repaired or maintained?
(If controls have less than 30% capacity answer Yes)

 • Crossings / Waterways - has any erosion been caused within the crossing and or the batters and banks?

 • Have the crossings been stabalised with protective measures e.g. geo-fab, soil binder, flexterra?

 • Has background water monitoring been taken? Has there been any increase in turbidity due to construction works?

 • Do rehabilitated areas have any signs of erosion and or scouring?

 • Do any bellholes, open excavations or low points need dewatering?

 • If answer is Yes (above), has a suitable discharge location been identified, controls procured and crew trained?

 • Has Water Release Approval been issued for all dewatering activities?

 • Are additional controls required to be installed before waters can be discharged?

 • RoW Boundary - Are there any signs of failure of controls resulting in uncontrolled dirty water or sediment discharging from site?

 • Bunding - Has any bunded pallets or spill trays filled with water?

 • Exclusion Zones - Are all exclusion zones clearly flagged off and signed?

 • Stockpiles - Are stockpiles adequately protected or stabilised to prevent soil erosion?

SUMMARY

 • Has any sediment left site? To what extent has this occurred? What are the actions required to rectify the issue?

 • Have photos been taken of areas where works or maintenance is required?

 • Has an Environmental Action list been prepared and register been updated?

 • Do ERSED Plans need to be updated or ECDNs be raised?
