This assessment is compiled to evaluate potential health & safety risks associated with a contract and ensure sufficient controls are included during construction. A Health and Safety Adviser in consultation with the Site Agent/Site Manager will carry out the assessment on site. The assessment must be completed prior to the Health & Safety Plan being developed. This risk assessment will be appended to the Health and Safety Plan.

Is any form of demolition required? What methods are planned to demolish structures (long reach machines, shears, rock hammer, etc.) Has a competent demolition contractor been appointed?
Confined Spaces:

Are confined spaces identified? Are there any special precautions required i.e. entry into tanks or manholes?
Contaminated Land:

Has contamination been identified? What precautions will be required to control the work/waste?
