In order to comply with the requirements of BS7499:2007 clause 6.4.5, all Security Officers will receive a visit at least once per month from the Supervisor/Area Manager, where the following items will be discussed:-
a) Welfare
b) Familiarity with Assignment Instructions
c) Performance
d) Training Needs
N.B.
1) Welfare includes a check of toilet facilities, washroom, first aid box location, canteen or kitchen facilities, site risk assessment forms etc.)
2) Performance is based on knowledge of the job, completion of site logs etc. The Security Officer should be scored where 1 = unsatisfactory, 2 = satisfactory, 3 = effective and 4 = highly effective.
Any problems with welfare, appearance, performance, together with any training to be provided should be documented. -
