7. FIBRE TESTING
7.1 Fibre Testing (LN/DN & FDH GPON Splitter).
-
1. Test equipment calibrated.
-
2. Insertion Loss tested with a Light Source & Power Meter. OTDR Bi-Directional. 1310, 1625nm wavelengths. Optical Loss shall not exceed calculated optical budget.
-
3. Test compiled in accordance with the specification and Test results recorded - Look for any reds in workbook.
-
4. If Insertion loss exceed optical budget, check whether sub-contractor has filled the fibre fault trouble shooting report and they have replaced the faulty part.
