Receiving Area

Housekeeping

  • Housekeeping equipment is clean serviceable, equipment is stored correctly when not in use?

  • A cleaning schedule is in place, up to date and signed off daily?

  • Pallet storage are cleaned when pallets are removed?

  • Ailes are clear of dust dirt and debris, all items that are not operational requirements or functional are removed?

  • All litter, obstructions and rubbish are removed from behind, under and around Armco rails and pedestrian walkways?

  • Plant rooms and equipment service areas are clean and free of rubbish and surplus equipment?

  • Cardboard and plastic for recycling is removed on a regular basis and placed in bins provided?

Warehouse Exteriors

Warehouse General

  • Safety Observations are completed on a regular basis?

  • Safety foot wear is worn in all areas of the warehouse, visitors not wearing safety foot wear must be escorted by a Silk Logistics supervisor at all times?

  • All employees wear Hi Visibility clothing in all areas at all times, high visibility vests must be done up at all times for 360 degrees of visibility?

  • Traffic management plans are in place and displayed in appropriate location?

  • Traffic paths are clear of clutter and debris for both pedestrians and MHE?

  • Speed limit signs are in place and observed?

  • MHE is only driven by qualified employees and contractors. All drivers have provided a copy of current forklift license and a copy is kept on file?

  • All forklift drivers have completed a competency assessment and records kept on training matrix?

  • Smoking is only permitted in designated area and is observed?

  • Fire Alarms are tested on a regular basis to Australian standards?

  • Fire evacuations have taken place on a Bi Annual basis (6 monthly)?

  • All electrical cables are stored off the floor and compliance tagged?

  • Damaged racking and missing securing pins are reported and repaired?

  • All work benches are free from debris and clutter including under the bench's consumables are stored correctly?

Amenities Hygiene

  • Daily cleaning verification chart is completed by contractor for all areas of the operation contracted to clean noting date and time cleaning was completed?

  • Smoking area is clean and free of waste, Ash trays are cleaned on a regular basis?

  • Locker rooms are clean and free of Rubbish and debris?

  • Office amenities areas are cleaned on a daily basis?

Transport

  • Truck parking zones are clearly marked with pedestrian exclusion zones marked around each zone?

  • Driver safety zones are clearly marked?

  • Loading docks are clear of debris and clutter?

  • Company and contractor vehicles are clean and presentable to customers?

  • Yard speed limits are clearly marked and observed?

  • Drivers run sheets are completed correctly in inclusive of: Start and finish times. Odometer readings, COR Statements and signed?
