Checking the site supervisor has the relevant documentation to fulfil they're responsibilities

  • Confirm that the site supervisor has the following certificates on site and in date for the duration of the project.<br><br>- SSSTS (minimum)<br>- Fire Marshall<br>- CSCS<br>- Asbestos awareness<br>- First aid<br><br>

  • Has the site supervisor been fully briefed, is aware of the scope of works and has the following relevant documents.<br><br>- Programme of works<br>- Scope of works<br>- Before and after plans<br>- Pre construction phase plan

  • Are all contractors Public Liability Insurance certificates present, in date for the duration of the project and is the indemnity for the correct value, £10m?

  • Has the site supervisor got the following manuals on site.<br><br>- The current Screwfix spec manual<br>- The current ADT playbook<br>- The current electrical spec manual

  • Was the site induction suitable and sufficient to identify all hazards and risks?

Site setup compliance

  • Is the Health and Safety board fully completed including the following items. (Include photo of board)<br><br>1. Employer liability certificate.<br>2. Fire action plan<br>3. Site rules<br>4. Local hospital information including map<br>5. Asbestos survey<br>6. SSSTS/SMSTS certificate<br>7. Health and Safety policy statement<br>8. First Aid certificate<br><br>

  • Has the area that has been specified on the site plan for storage been set up and cordoned off with the correct signage? (Include photo)

  • Has suitable and sufficient barrier fencing been setup with suitable and sufficient signage displayed in the following areas.<br><br>- Working area<br>- Skips<br>- Storage

  • Are there adequate fire procedures in place including the following items.<br><br>- Fire bell<br>- Fire extinguishers<br>- Signage

Health and Safety folder completion

  • Are the Health and Safety folders on site?

  • Is the front page signed by the Health and Safety officer on both folders?

  • Is Folder 1 fully compliant?

  • Is Folder 2 fully compliant?

  • Is the Accident book available?
