I. Site Access

Can vehicles gain safe access to the site?

Can everyone get to their place of work safely and gain safe access to the welfare facilities?

Are pedestrian access routes segregated from mobile plant movements and free from obstruction?

Does access routes avoid the need for an individual to climbing up banks or inclines?

II. Welfare

III. CDM Area work / Site compound

Can the site compound be made secure at the end of a working shift?

V. Plant & Equipment

All mobile plant logged onto the site plant register?

All Safety critical equipment e.g. confined space entry equipment, chains, trench boxes and other lifting equipment to be received with the appropriate examination certificate

All electrical hand tools leads and guards hand grips in place and not damaged badly worn or broken.

Portable transformers distribution boards, electrical leads, splitter boxes, RDC units, earth strops, lighting suitable and sufficient for the scope of the works.

Portable compressors appropriately sized to ensure that sufficient but not excessive compressed air output can be achieved

Portable plant including Excavators, Dumpers, Tele-handlers, received with examination certificate
