  • INSPECTION TO BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED TO THE HELPDESK BY THE END OF EACH MONTH

  • 1. Inspect drills for signs of cracks, chips, or other damage. Replace as necessary.

  • 2. Inspect tools for sign it has been used for a pry bar, or as a chisel. Replace as necessary.

  • 3. Inspect all tools to ensure they are not altered from their original state and are still in good working condition.

  • 4. Ensure all tools are clean and free of grease and dirt. Clean all tools if needed.

  • 5. Inspect insulated handles to ensure the isolation is in tact and not cracked or damaged. Replace if necessary.

  • 6. Ensure the tools are electrical rated.

  • Has the tool been PAT tested?

  • List all comments or actions taken

  • Is the tool safe for continued use?

Declaration

  • I the above named person hereby confirm that I have conducted full visual inspections as per this audit, for all necessary tools and that upon completion of this audit, all tools are safe and secure for continued use. Where tools have been designated unsafe for use, I have notified the Helpdesk and removed the faulty tool(s) from use.
