Check-list Questions:

  • It is the responsibility of the operator/driver of plant equipment to ensure that this check-list is completed prior to the plant being operated. Before using the machine, please ensure that you have, in your person, your current licenses/competency to operate this machine.

  • After you complete this inspection, please email it to your Solargain manager so that it's uploaded to the relevant vehicle/truck inspection in MYOSH register. If you are a subcontractor, please ensure that you have contacted Solargain installations, operations or WHS for permission to use the machine.

  • Lights, Warning Devices, Signs, Gauges etc

  • Check Hydraulics - leaks, damage, connections

  • Components - damaged, broken

  • Wheels - tyres, loose nuts, wear, suspension.

  • Pins - pivots, rams, lift arms, bucket pins

  • Quick-hitch independent connector secured.

  • Guards - in place, secure, warnings.

  • Conditions of - hooks, Sheaves, chains, tracks, slings.

  • Cabin - control loose objects, seat belts, windscreens, visibility, rear view mirrors, seat function.

  • Operation of brakes, steering controls, wipers, levers, buckets, before moving off.

  • Other e.g. Fire Exit. Electrical connections, wiring etc

  • IMPORTANT: Have you checked around the plant before moving
