Waste collection point set-up

  • Is a waste collection point set up and maintained?

  • Is the waste collection point segregated?

Spill response

  • Is there a reasonable spill response kit available?

  • Is the work force of the site trained in the use of the spill kit and also the response procedure?

Documentation and records

  • Is the company's environmental/waste management policy prominently displayed in the welfare area?

  • Are waste transfer notes (hazardous, general and waste water) obtained from the waste transporter?

  • Are General waste and COSHH waste transfer notes stored in the correct manner?

  • Are the waste transfer notes uploaded to BREEAM or Smartwaste if applicable?
