SHOP FIRE TESTS A break glass test must be carried out in each store on a weekly basis. Any faults identified or tests that cannot be carried out must be documented against the name of the particular unit. Any newly vacant units that have had the power turned off must at least have temporary power brought to the fire alarm panel. The Operations Manager must be informed of any units where active fire alarm panels are not in place.
