Customer Visit

  • Was the customer's address correct?

  • Are the tanks labeled correctly (product name matches invoice)?

  • Exxon Mobil DPIM Procedures: Documented loading & delivery work procedures shall be in place and implemented. Delivery procedures shall include inspections to ensure product from tank/truck compartment or (if applicable) from drums/IBCs/totes is pumped into the customer's appropriate bulk storage. All operating staff performing this activity shall be trained.

  • Are there any old labels on the tank that need to be removed?

  • Do the tanks have fill inlet and vent?

  • If multiple tanks exist, are they numbered?

  • Is the area around the tanks clean?

  • Are the tanks accessible (you don't have to move items to fill the tanks)?

  • Are there any leaks in the tank or plumbing?

  • Are there any hazards or other issues that need to be addressed to ensure a safe delivery?
