SCBA Sets

  • SCBA Set 1 - is the system holding pressure when charged? Loss of 10 bar in 1 min is unacceptable.

  • SCBA Set 1 - Check general condition of the apparatus. Straps, o-rings, buttons, fittings.

  • SCBA Set 2 - is the system holding pressure when charged? Loss of 10 bar in 1 min is unacceptable.

  • SCBA Set 2 - Check general condition of the apparatus. Straps, o-rings, buttons, fittings.

  • Are the Face Masks clear, straps fully extended and ready to be donned

SCBA Bottle Pressure Readings

Fire Team Radios

  • Test both radios for connection and transmission by making a test call on CH 15. Turn off radios and make sure they are charging.

LSA Locker - General

  • Is the BA Control Board cleaned, with a marker present and readily available?

  • Is the Crew List and Muster List updated and available?

  • Ensure the content and location of equipment inside the fire locker is neat, clear of any obstructions and laid out ready to go in an emergency situation.
