WALL CONSTRUCTION

  • Is wall stenciled with appropriate rating every 10' or once per wall whichever is greater?

FIRESTOPPING

  • Is there a sticker listing the UL Assembly next to the penetration?

ELECTRICAL

  • Are all electrical boxes and conduit steel?

  • Are all the electrical boxes in the wall no bigger than 4" x 4"?

  • Is there a minimum of 24" of horizontal distance between electrical boxes on opposite sides of the wall?

FIRE DAMPERS

  • Firestopping is not permitted around fire dampers.

  • Is there a retaining angle between the fire-damper and the duct penetration?
