Information

  • A weekly plant inspection of the AHU is to be carried out by the site supervisor/ Manager (Yes = Checked OK, No = Fault) All critical/ Urgent issues must be reported immediately to the project manager. Add notes and photos to each section where there are issues found

Sanitary Ware

  • Keys to be obtained for AHU so unit can be locked after cleaning<br><br><br><br>

  • Any dirty operations i.e. welding, cutting etc. not to be carried out in plantroom, to be finished<br><br>

  • All duct to be swept up, all debris removed. Ideally floor to be sealed

  • Access into AHU’s to be on a permit to work basis.<br><br><br>

  • Air intake screws and louvres to be unobstructed and clean<br><br><br><br>

  • Fan chambers and all sections of AHU to be clean and dust free. Clean with damp rags.<br><br><br><br>

  • Heater batteries and cooling coils cleaned and damaged fins combed<br><br><br>

  • Dampers are clean/operational greased<br><br><br><br>

  • Filter media clean and in good condition and installed correctly/securely in frames<br><br>

  • Ducting and airways clean<br><br>

  • All AHU doors are free to open and not obstructed by other services<br><br><br><br>

  • Equipment checked for: Direction of rotation<br><br><br><br>

  • Equipment checked for: Lubrication<br><br><br><br>

  • Equipment checked for: Belt Tension<br><br><br>

  • Equipment checked for: Motor Fixings<br><br>

  • Equipment checked for: Key Way & Set Screws Tightness

  • Equipment checked for: Vibration Isolation Adjustment<br>

  • Equipment checked for: Correct Overloads Fitted<br>

  • Equipment checked for: Investigate & Locate all Stop/Start Buttons<br>
