1.0 - Inital inspection

  • 1.1 - Has the scaffold got a Scaffold tag on it?

2.0 - Site compliance & Competency

  • 2.1 - Do staff on site have a current HNZ ID Card

  • 2.2 - Has all the onsite staff , scaffold crew read, and signed the current risk and method statement?

  • 2.3 - Has the scaffold been erected by a certified scaffolder (if over 5 mtrs) or by a competent person(if under 5 mtrs)?

  • 2.4 - Has the certificed scaffolder got a copy of thier scaffold licence on them- is it valid?.

3.0 - Regulatory compliance

  • 3.1 - If over 5 mtrs , has the scaffolder notified Worksafe and there is a copy of the notification on site.

4.0 - Material storage and housekeeping

  • 4.1 - Was there evidance of good stacking and storage practices observed
