  • Bend radius of BFT in toby box to install specification? (13x the outside diameter of the BFT - 7mm = 91mm radius)

  • Visually, resinsatement to required standard? (If retrospective check) A. BFT in soft to the required depth? (expose cable) Grass = 200mm, flower bed = 250mm B. BFT installed in tarmac / concrete / Mono block - reinstatement to required standard? (If in progress >100mm depth)

  • BFT feeding Wall box cleated to the wall? covered by 'Dolly boot' and capping to Wall box? (If required - On pathway, public access)

  • Wall box installed and secured 300mm above ground level as per installation specification?

  • Fibre blown to required safety and quality standards? - Cleaned, dart tested, correct pressure

  • Excess blown fibre and fibre patch lead coiled and secured to required standard in wall box?

  • Fibre patch lead installed and secured with 4mm clips to the required standard (Max 220mm horizontally apart and 150mm vertically apart) and entry hole sealed with chalk or silicone?

Customer

  • LC/APC connector, connected and secured in the wall box to the required standard?

  • Fibre patch cable cleated and formed correctly to ONT location? (including a gromet installed on entry hole?

  • Testing: Demonstrates readings to be with-in the required -15dBm to -25dBm @1310 - @1550

  • ONT fitted and secured to the wall? SC adaptor fitted / connected correctly?

  • A 'one click' cleaner used before connecting and fibre connector?

  • Services demonstrated to customer at end of completed install?

  • All engineering waste removed from site?

Secondary Node
