Section One - Cleaning Operative Assessment

  • 1.1- Is the cleaner in full uniform presenting a smart and professional image at all times

  • 1.2 - Is the cleaners time keeping and attendance of an acceptable standard

  • 1.3 - Does the cleaner have a good, 'Yes can do' type attitude and approach to the role - detail any issues or concerns raised with the operatives attitude

  • 1.4 - Does the cleaner demonstrate good interaction and communication skills- colleagues, centre management, tenants, the public etc

  • 1.5 - Is the cleaners performance to the required standard - any issues or concerns raised concerning their performance

  • 1.6 - Has the cleaner been fully site trained

  • 1.7- Is the cleaner fully aware of the centres emergency plans - fire, bomb threats, flooding etc

Section two- Scenario Testing - give the cleaning operative two scenarios and assess the response given. Please record details of both the scenario and response below

Section three - cleaning routines and specifications and procedures

  • 3.1 - Is the cleaner fully aware of the current daily routines / specifications in place

  • 3.3 - Is the cleaner fully trained in COSHH

  • 3.4 - Can the cleaner explain how they go about cleaning certain areas - test their knowledge and approach

  • 3.5 - Inspect the areas last cleaned by the operative - is it to a good standard

  • 3.6 - Is the cleaner aware of what to do when dealing with a spillage - actions required as well as how it's reported

Section four - Summary

  • 4.1 - Are there any other outstanding issues or concerns not already discussed

  • 4.2 - Dose the cleaner have any issues or concerns to discuss

  • 4.3 - are there any additional actions, targets or objectives set for the cleaner based upon this assessment - detail below
