1. Verify that an initial assessment (written report, document or sensitivity map) has been undertaken and reviewed to confirm biosecurity (declared weeds and plant pathogens) zones. <br>(A person who is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) or; holds a formal qualification in engineering (agricultural, civil, or environmental), geology, soil science, environmental science or management, or equivalent and who has completed a recognised course in erosion and sediment control and has over 3 years’ erosion and sediment control experience)<br>

2. Inspect the site and verify that areas of known infestations are effectively identified and demarcated via barriers and signage. Ensure workers aren't operating in areas of known infestation without authorisation.<br>a) erosion controls (upslope clean water diversions, stabilisation, vegetation cover, revegetation and stockpile management); and, <br>b) sediment controls (sediment basins, check dams, sediment fences, silt curtains, coffer dams and encapsulation).<br>

3. Verify vehicles, plant and machinery are inspected using DA-ZH-FM067.1 Vehicle Hygiene Form or suitable equivalent form. (If the plant and equipment doesn't leave or enter a known biosecurity zone then no further verification is required)<br>c) their limits of clearance <br>d) why the area is protected<br>

4. Inspect the designated washdown areas to verify vehicles plant and machinery are thoroughly washed or cleaned removing all soil / mud and plant material. Ensure washdown facilities are suitable. Review washdown records to demonstrate compliance.
