Access Tower Daily / Weekly Checklist

INSPECTION FREQUENCY: Carry out inspection immediately after tower erection and record details. If adjusted, part dismantled or moved to an alternative location the tower must be re-inspected before use and record all details. If in continual use in the same location, with no adjustment, the tower should be inspected at least every 7 days. Any tower which sustains damage either by accident or by vandalism must be taken out of use and the appropriate signage put in place to warn all others. This must be reported to the Contracts Manager /Trainee Contracts Manager immediately.

Before erection ensure all components are available to complete a fully assembled access tower and inspect them for damage.

Castors locked and legs correctly adjusted

Braces in position and platform level

Stabilisers / outriggers / ballast fitted as specified

Platforms located and wind locks on (clips)

Clear of overhead cable
