  • Are ladders being set up on level surfaces?

  • Are Mobile platforms and/or scaffolds being used?

  • Is the platform/scaffold set up on a level surface?

Work Place Enivorment

  • Are staff aware of the work environment around and of others who may be affected by their work?

  • Do all build team have appropriate accommodation for their evening?

Electrical Safety

  • Are electricians working on the project competent?

  • Are fixings secured, without risk of falling? e.g. light fittings, sockets etc

  • Have all fittings been tested?

  • Have all potential trip hazards from trailing cables adressed?

  • Is all cabling in good condition without frays and exposed wiring?

Vehicles

  • Are FLTS being used on site by GES personnel or sub-contractors?

  • Is there evidence of a daily pre-user checks?

  • Are FLTs being driven in a safe manner?

  • Are the FLTs in good safe condition?

  • Are horns being sounded to alert pedestrians of their presence?

  • Are FLTs being parked in safe manner, without obstructing routes to and from the venue?

  • Are MEWPs (cherry pickers, scissor lifts etc) being used by GES personnel or sub-contractors?

  • Have pre-user checks been completed?

  • Are operators trained to complete task?

  • Are harnesses being worn?

  • Are harnesses clipped on?

Sign Off

  • Has the build been conducted in a issue free manner without cause for concern in terms of safety?
