  • Is all internal lighting including work and accommodation areas, operational and in good order?

  • Is all external lighting operational and in good order?

  • Are all carpets and wood flooring in all areas undamaged, and do not present a trip risk?

  • Are all tiled & Vinyl floors undamaged and do not present a slip risk when wet.

  • Internal stairways, handrails in good order, wooden steps nosed yellow/white and well lit?<br>

  • Check internal chairs and furniture are undamaged?

  • Are internal floors, walls and ceilings (including accommodation) undamaged?

  • Is roof & roof tiles in good order.

  • Is cellar delivery point (including cellar floor) and equipment (eg flap doors, chains, locks, and hoist) in good order?

  • Are all internal and external drain covers present?

  • External stairways, ramps and handrails in good order, yellow/white nosings present and well lit.

  • Are external guttering, downpipes and drains functioning correctly and not overflowing or leaking?

  • Are external walkways and car park surfaces in good order (no damaged paving or pot holes-trip risk)

  • Do all gas fires, open fires and wood burners operate correctly without exhausting fumes into public or accommodation areas?<br>

  • Check external garden furniture including jumbrellas, canopies. smoking shelters. are undamaged.

  • Is Intruder alarm functioning correctly?

  • Is CCTV functioning correctly?

  • Where installed on flat roofs, is security lighting/detectors/alarm system operating without fault.

  • No visible damage /decolourisation of electrical sockets, plugs, leads, switches and light fittings internally or externally.

  • All electrical, including domestic and commercial catering equipment operating without fault.

  • All gas fired, including domestic and commercial catering equipment operating without fault.

  • Is waste controlled as not to present a fire risk or pest hazard externally?

  • All staff H&S CPL training complete? if not list all staff who have not completed

  • All staff H&S procedures (company specific) training complete and recorded.

  • Are all staff aware of the significant findings of the outlets health and safety risk assessment and security survey?
