Good Performance is

  • Good Performance is:

  • Hang Queue time average for the shift of 35 seconds or less.

  • Wait for Spot average for the shift 33 seconds or less.

  • Loading time average for the shift of 100 seconds or less.

  • Dig unit activities do not cause trucks to wait.

  • Accurate delay management.

Scoring System

  • For each criteria in this Field Verification provide a score from 1 - 5 to indicate the Field Officer's level of proficiency. The scoring system is as follows:

  • 1. Not yet trained/does not understand the task/skill.

  • 2. Has basic understanding of the task, but doesn’t always recognise when task needs to be performed, or cannot to perform the task without assistance.

  • 3. Mostly understands the task but still requires further coaching to operate at the required level. Performs the task when required.

  • 4. Competent – understands the task and completes it every time.

  • 5. Has mastered the skill, could be considered an expert.

  • Is the bench and work area set up for efficient AH operation

  • How is the bench layout/set up impacting loading and what could be improved?

  • Does the virtual mine model in the dynamic area, align with the physical mine model. so that the AHT do not pick up obstacles?

  • Does Operator call AHT's into in cusp point as soon as possible, preventing unnecessary Hang while waiting for the AHT to travel to the cusp point?

  • Does the Operator monitor queue/entry & exit locations to minimise hang and truck interchange time (e.g. no excessive travel to cusp point, AHT's being held up unnecessarily while spotting, AHT's travelling inefficient routes)?

  • How could the queue/entry, exit & cusp point locations be improved to increase loading rate?

  • Does Operator check splits are built into their dynamic lanes?

  • Does the Operator identifies when cusp point locations are affecting load time & communicates to AH Builder/Control?

  • Does Operator use cusp preferences to move cusp location so as to improve truck cusping/spotting time?

  • Does Operator call AH builder to help set cusp boundary preferences, if operator can not set cusp preference.

  • Does Operator set the next spot early in the loading sequence (while loading current truck) so as to minimise truck spot time?

  • Get operator to demonstrate how to set spot point 2, using the terrain screen

  • Does Operator understand what Perception Masking of the Spot Points is.

  • Does the Operator Limiting the angle of approach of the AHT to the spot point, to helps reduce the possibility of detecting the load face as an obstacle.

  • Does Operator re-survey face at the appropriate intervals?

  • Does the Operator load material in to AHT, so it's centered correctly.

  • Does Operator use gaps for bench clean-up so trucks are never waiting?

  • Is floor dozer being utilised effectively at dig face? e.g. cleaning up regularly, not interrupting AHT's or loading unit unnecessarily, etc.

  • How could the floor dozing be utilised more effectively?

Summary

  • Detail any additional coaching/observations made.

  • Detail any feedback received.
