Engine Off. Perform the following checks with the engine off.

  • No fluid leaks under vehicle.

Engine Running. Perform the following checks with the engine running after setting wheel chocks and placing the Plymovent system in 'MANUAL' mode.

  • Gauges/ Switches

  • Fuel Level

  • Electrical System

  • HVAC

  • Engine Hours

  • Mileage

  • Braking System

  • Headlights

  • Marker Lights

  • Signal Lights

  • Reverse Lights. If checking vehicle alone turn off engine while performing this check.

  • Emergency Lights

  • Opticom. Check with brakes released. If checking vehicle alone turn off engine and chock wheels front and behind while performing this check.

  • Scene lights

  • Work lights

  • Interior lights and spotlight

  • Pump panel lights

  • Hose bed light

  • Compartment lights

  • Transmission fluid. Check in neutral at idle.

  • Mirrors undamaged and positioned appropriately for operator

Pump in gear. Perform the following checks with the engine running and the pump in gear.

  • Operate electric MIVs

  • Test electronic throttle governor system

  • Booster tank full

  • Shift from pump back to road position

  • Test siren

  • Test air horn

  • Engine turned off, chocks stored and Plymovent turned to 'AUTO'.

  • Lubricate all doors and hinges using silicone spray lubricant

  • Clean up vehicle interior and wash vehicle exterior
