Audit and Inspection Items

Records Management

  • Is the latest version of the SWPPP available? Monitoring records present?

  • Is the latest CERS submittal and relevant documents (e.g., HMI, HMBP, etc.) available?

  • Are hazardous waste records (e.g., inspections, manifests, profiles, etc.) available?

Site Management

  • For erodible areas, are proper BMPs (e.g., fiber rolls/mats, silt fences, etc.) in place?

  • Is secondary containment adequate for stationary sources (e.g., ASTs, totes, drums, portable toilets, etc.)?

  • Are drip pans in place for mobile equipment?

  • Are spill kits available, stocked, and located in high-risk areas (e.g., ASTs, hazwaste storage, fueling areas)?

Nuisance and Public Interests

  • Is dust suppression and sediment controls (e.g., track-out strips) adequate?

  • Are noise and vibration within reasonable limits?

  • For construction projects, is there posted signage with project info. (e.g., timeline, contact information, etc.)?
