EXIT DOORS

  • The purpose of and exit door is to provide safe exit from a building with MINMUM EFFORT AND DELAY. The openings must be clear from furniture, stowed goods or other obstructions

    The doors must be able to be opened internally without a key, from the side facing a person seeking their way out, by a single-handed downward or pushing action on a single device located between 900 mm and 1.2 m from the floor.
