General condition of ductwork :- all sections appear to be in good conditions and free from defects
Rectangular Ductwork:- flanges/connectors are adequately affixed to duct sheet, flanges/connectors are adequately jointed ( I.e. all nuts and bolts are in place, flanges are adequately gasketted and ductwork is adequately supported.
Circular Ductwork:- connectors are adequately jointed (i.e. socket and spigot joint are secured with rivets ), connectors are adequately sealed ( external mastic viewed ) ductwork is adequately supported.
Flexible ductwork:- connection to spiral tube is adequate, banding is utilised and secure.
Fire dampers are installed ( note location and supporting arrangement )
Access Panel:- Note whether access panels are installed, note panel is correctly fitted and can be removed and re-installed.
Any other items of note:-
