Forklift Pre Start Checklist

Do you have a current Forklift/High risk license?

Any visual damage?

Any damage to signage or rating plates on forklift?

Any faults with the emergency stop?

Any faults with the control functions?

Any unusual noise or vibration?

Any damage to tines or load backrest?

Is the Forklift roof clear? (visual and obstruction)

Any damage to overhead guard or ROPS?

Any faults with tires including wheel nuts, inflation pressure and tread?

Any fluid leaks?

Any fluids outside of their appropriate range including engine, hydraulic, transmission, brake fluid, coolant and power steering?

Any faults with reverse beeper, lights or horn?
