  • Have steel posts been braced within straps and blocked out with timber?

  • Are steel posts adequately bolted/welded?

  • Will top plates to steel posts interfere with cornice/square set?(check type of cornice)

  • Are frames square, straight and plumb? (level check at least all tiled areas)

  • Are bracing units in place and installed correctly?<br>

  • Are all dyna bolts adequately secured where required? (check for adequate washers)

  • Are room sizes and doorway opening to size and correct placement?<br>

  • Are all noggins in place?

  • If niches are external walls, have they been blocked prior to brickwork?

  • Have all trusses been installed plum and straight?

  • Has bracing, triple grips, L bracket and shear blocks been installed correctly? (lower roof)

  • Has all roof bracing been installed and nailed off wrapped under top plate?

  • Has man hole been installed, blocked down and marked on floor?

  • Have change of direction blocks been installed?<br>

  • Have all remaining timbers been stacked neatly?

  • Are all windows/sliding doors installed correctly with ledgers under and fixed with galvanized nails?

  • Has alcor flashing been cut into reveals of sliding doors and installed level?<br>

  • Are sliding door sashes stacked neatly and secured?

  • Are glass panels free from scratches?

  • Are window and door frames free from scratches and dents?

  • Have you considered for any light points to brick piers? (Check electrical layout)

  • Can brickwork be started without pinning for brickwork? Note: less than 920mm

  • if No, you must book Surveyor

  • Have all carpentry items on the ground floor been completed? (itemized list and photos)

  • Has the floor joist system been installed correctly? (check beams, joist, joist hangers, blocking and bracing)

  • Is void protection in place and ladder secured? (note: Ladder must protrude 900mm above platform)

  • Are frames square, straight and plumb? (level check at least all tiled areas)

  • Have room sizes been checked for size and doorway opening to size and placement?

  • Are all noggins in place?

  • If niches are external walls, have they been blocked prior to brickwork?<br>

  • Are bracing units in place and installed correctly?

  • Are all windows/sliding doors installed with ledgers and galvanized nails?
