First Aiders

  • Ask another employee what needs to be done when a First Aider is needed <br> <br>STANDARD: When a First Aider is needed go to the manager's office who will call for a First Aider. If you’re unable to get to the manager’s office, call someone close by to then get someone else to go to the office instead.

RackEye

  • Ask another employee to explain what RackEye is. <br> <br>STANDARD: A system that detects vibration within the racking and alerts when there is an impact to the racking

  • Ask another employee about the purpose of RackEye <br> <br>STANDARD: To prevent unreported damage to the racking

  • Ask another employee what needs to be done when RackEye starts flashing orange or red <br> <br>STANDARD: It must be reported to a manager immediately as racking may be damaged

Manual handling

  • Ask another employee what the manual handling procedure is when picking/putting down an object in the warehouse <br> <br>STANDARD: Feet forward (slightly wider than hips), back straight and bend knees

Spillages

  • Ask another employee what needs to be done if you make or a see a spillage <br> <br>STANDARD: report it to the manager, who’ll then get a cleaner to tidy it up

  • Ask a cleaner how to clean a spillage up <br> STANDARD: Cone off the area, bring a wet floor sign, mop up/wipe area

Pallets
