Section 9 First Aid

  • Is an adequately stocked First Aid cabinet/kit provided at a central location

  • Is the First Aid cabinet/kit regularly inspected to ensure adequate supplies are present

  • Access to the First Aid cabinet/kit is easily accessible

  • Employees aware of location of first aid cabinet/kit <br>

  • Chairs are in good condition and meet ergonomic design requirements <br>

  • Desks are in good condition and meet AS4442:1197 (700mmH X 900mmD)

  • Screen Based Equipment i.e. glare from windows <br>

  • Air conditioning system maintained regularly <br>

  • Stable non-slip floor coverings <br>

  • Kitchen area clean and tidy

  • Toilets clean and tidy, hand wash soap and towels available

Safety Inspection Sign Off

  • The Officer completing this Safety Inspection must ensure that the final report is sent through to Safety Service for recording of Hazards and required Follow up Actions and the Department Supervisor has been notified of the Inspection outcome.

  • The Area Safety Representative accepts the findings of this Workplace Inspection and shall ensure that any corrective action/s identified during this Inspection shall be actioned immediately.
