  • No evidence of damaged raw material packaging for potential cross contamination risk

  • Plastic drinking bottles & wooden items excluded from area (i.e. pallets, brooms, tools)

  • Pens used in area are metal detectable

  • Work in Progress / raw material product is correctly identified and appropriately secured

  • Product not placed on directly on floor surface, platform floor surface

  • All exits / passageways clear and unobstructed

  • Loose items stored correctly to minimise risk of entering process

  • No cross contamination issues detected during audit (i.e. during cleaning, rubbish removal, dropped product)

  • Cleaning chemicals correctly stored, secured and identified

  • Cleaning tools are available, adequate, properly stored and clean when not in use

  • Chemical soak tubs clean, identified and filled accordingly to soak equipment appropriately

  • Tubs, waste bins, containers are used for their correct purpose and are in good condition

  • All access doors closed when not in use and no gaps minimising entry for pest, insects

  • Signage in area in good condition & legible

  • Light fixtures in working condition and secured with no evidence of damage / breakage

  • Label residue is being cleaned and removed from product containers effectively. Build up is not visible that could lead to foreign object &/or cross contamination issues.

  • Cleaning master schedule (AFQA-F-0021) in place, available & completed correctly for cooking section
