IDI Taping Quality Control

Confirm for updated drawings, RFI's, plans & specs

Confirm all rooms are clear of other subcontactor's materials and equipment during taping

Confirm beads are plumb and in plane with the wall prior to taping

Confirm minimum 50 degrees F temperature maintained in building

Confirm cornerbeads and 093 control joints are floated at the ceiling and floors, to minimize gaps at the ceiling grid and base

Confirm wall is finished to floor at roll-up flooring and exposed floors with no base

Check around door and window jambs to make certain there are no chatter marks and that the walls and frames are cleared of mud

Confirm skim coat on walls is checked out and sanded. Check with lights prior to primer where level 5 finish is applicable

Confirm all electrical boxes, etc., are clean of taping mud

Confirm door/window frames are cleaned of excess mud

Confirm any patches have been floated out

Confirm cleanup of our cartons and scrap materials

Inspect and walk the site with G.C. Superintendent
