Final Inspection Checklist for 12B Generators

  • Rotor Adapter Plate: Is the plate secured by two supports so that the rotor will not move?

  • Are leads secure for shipment?

  • Has generator been blown out and all debris cleared?

  • Is work-scope checklist signed off?

  • Verify that the Job Acknowledgement information matches the nameplates.

  • Make sure pictures are taken before motor is wrapped in plastic.

  • Is parts list in the job pouch from warehouse/receiving area?

  • Are all bolted connections tight?

  • Is prep & paint up to Mesa Joy Global quality standards?

  • Have job number and country of origin been stamped in unit?

  • Ensure job number, serial number, part number, and completion date is written on outside after generator is wrapped.

  • Ensure there are four (4) desiccant crystal packets added to the outside of a motor prior to wrapping the motor in plastic. (ALL MOTORS)

  • Merger and record the following readings: Rotor __________, Stator ________, prior to wrapping for shipment.
