Final Inspection Checklist for Crowd Case Transmission

  • Exposed machine surfaces and gears: Has rust inhibitor been applied to these surfaces?

  • Case: Has it been NDT inspected after repairs to confirm there are no cracks (particular around gussets and mounting face)?

  • Mounting Hardware: Is it boxed with job number and secured to shipping stand?

  • Shipping skid/stand: Is it mounted securely?

  • I.D. Plates: Are they marked according to job acknowledgement?

  • Parts list: Has it been added to pouch from warehouse / receiving area?

  • Final photos: Have final photos been taken?

  • Ensure Joy Global lifting brackets re removed prior to shipment.

  • Holes in case: Have the holes been plugged?

  • Paint: Ia paint job up to acceptable standards (This includes crowd case shipping cover).

  • Has job number and country code been stamped in plate and body? (US, AU, CA)

  • Stencil the part number, weight, job number, and Joy Global on gearbox/transmission.
