  • GENERAL PERSONAL SAFETY: The venue on initial inspection should be secure and safe to access. Should doors or windows that appear to have been forced then staff need to consider their own safety and security upon entering the venue. Further back up from the Police or other staff/volunteers should be a consideration.
    LONE WORKING: This is a potential issue for the venue and this needs consideration at all times.
    INSPECTION OUTCOME: Each inspection area should be reviewed to ensure the area is safe and suitable for public and staff access. ISSUES or ACTIONS: In the event of issues or actions required to be addressed then staff should ensure these are followed up according to the general maintenance approach being implemented by the venue.
    MANAGEMENT REVIEW: This approach need to be considered over a longer term. But built around the day to day issues identified within this document and discussions at team meetings.
