Maintenance & General Attention Detail

  • Are flowers/plants/trees (inside/outside) free from dust and debris and in good condition?

  • All light bulbs, light fittings and chandeliers fully working and are all lights directly above the tables?

  • Are all windows clean inside and out?<br>Are all picture frames & mirrors & glass cabinets free from smears and dust free?

  • Is the outside menu box clean, in good repair, lighting fully working with up to date menus?

  • Is the plant room free from obstructions, clean and locked?

Toilets

  • Are the toilet cubicle partitions clean and well maintained? Floor clean and dry? Toilets clean and fully functional?

  • Do all cubicle doors lock? Does it have appropriate coat hook?

  • Does every cubicle have a secure, clean toilet roll holder? Is there toilet paper in each toilet with no back up left unsecured?

  • Does the alarm in the disabled toilet work?

  • Are the sanitary bins clean and odour free (ladies/disabled) (CHROME IN COLOUR?)

  • Is the baby changing unit clean, fully working and safe? Is there sufficient amount of baby wipes and nappies in place?

  • Are all soap dispensers and hand dryers working, clean and polished where possible?

  • Are the toilet seats in good condition and not loose?

  • Are there any other noticeable points with regards to the toilet facilities? (Detail below)

Management diary

  • Is the managers declaration and contact details completed and signed by all current managers?

  • Has the manager on duty completed the daily checks for that day and is there any evidence of corrective action logs?

  • Are the managers diary weekly tests completed legitimately and up to date?Fire alarm test complete including front page detail.<br>Emergency lighting test complete.<br>Locations of lighting test written at front of diary.

  • Has a 6 month fire drill been carried out with all of the team?

  • Does every stand have full, metal sanitiser bottles labelled on the base and correct coloured roll for FOH?

  • Do waiter stations have watering cans set up with sufficient colouring pencils or crayons, colouring maps and kids cutlery?

  • Are all the restaurant tills clean including behind and underneath with tidy wires?

  • Are all wet floor signs clean?

  • Do all servers have their zonal fob with them for shift?

  • Are all restaurant printers & PDQS clean & operational?

  • Does every stand have: PDQ/ Till rolls (out of sight), Back-up staples, Calculator, Stapler, Bill Books?
