  • MP1 Simpler for stores is actively managed, The simpler for stores folder is a live working document. the periodic employment plan reflects the current simpler for stores projects and progress around moving hours is evident.

  • MP2 eBCS is used as per the guidelines every week both as a planning and review tool

  • MP10 Personnel manager is confident in moving people around the business and can describe the approach and process that they follow.

  • MP11 All managers in store are trained on moving people around our business and this is signed off on their training record cards. Refresher training is carried out as required. All managers should also have the managing productivity tools easel signed off on their training record cards.

  • MP12 Store has strong links with other local stores and can describe action taken to promote opportunities and vacancies to move over contracted hours around.

  • MP13 There are sufficient staff in store that are multi skilled across all areas of the business to increase flexibility.

  • MP14 All recruitment is based on the employment plan and follows the agreed corporate process for authorising this. Where a store is over hours recruitment is business critical only.

  • MP15 Where a store is over hours all temporary contracts have been reviewed.

  • MP16 All job coding on the hr system is accurate and is following the 51% rule.

  • MP17 Store can demonstrate the movement of hours to the ideal schedule through regular review of the right hours right place reports following the what good looks like template and all reports are archived in the right hours right place folder which is set up as per the agreed group layout.
