1.0 - Previous inspection

  • 2.8 - Are the PPE used during working?

  • 2.9 - Make sure that there is no one near the machines during operation start-up.

  • 2.10 - Does the worker used earplugs while working in the kernel plant?

  • 2.11 - Are the warning signs placed at the right location?

  • 2.12 - Make sure that there is a pallet covered with rubber underneath the front switch board.

3.0 - Silo, Bunker (Silo Nut, Silo Kernel, Kernel Bunker)

  • 3.1 - Are the drains / floor cleaned and free from oil?

  • 3.2 - Are the manholes closed during operation?

  • 3.3 - Does the worker understand the works in a confined space?

  • 3.4 - Are the stairs / pathway cleaned and free from oil?

  • 3.5 - Is there any warning sign of "Beware of slippery floor" being put up?

  • 3.6 - Is there any warning sign of "Caution, confined space"?

  • 3.7 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition?

4.0 - Ripple Mill

  • 4.1 - Make sure that there is no exposed cable wire

  • 4.2 - Make sure that the switch board is in dry condition (not wet).

  • 4.3 - Are the samples taken using the right tools?

  • 4.4 - Make sure that the emergency switch of the ripple mill is labelled.

  • 4.5 - Is the floor cleaned regularly and free from kernel?

  • 4.6 - Is the spillage being disposed off or recycled back immediately?

  • 4.7 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition?

5.0 - Fan & Airlock (LTDS cyclone)

  • 5.1 - Make sure that there is no exposed wire.

  • 5.2 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for belting.

  • 5.3 - Are the samples taken using the right tools?

  • 5.4 - Make sure that the fan and airlock are labelled.

  • 5.5 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the fan and airlock is labelled.

  • 5.6 - Make sure that the hand rails and pathway are free from thick dust.

  • 5.7 - Make sure that any spillage is disposed off or recycled back imediately.

  • 5.8 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition?

6.0 - Elevator (Cracked Mixture Elevator, Wet Kernel Elevator, Dry Kernel Elevator)

  • 6.1 - Are the stairs and platforms cleaned regularly and free of oil?

  • 6.2 - Make sure that there is no exposed wire.

  • 6.3 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for transmission chain or coupling.

  • 6.4 - Make sure that there is a closed cover for the elevator.

  • 6.5 - Make sure that the elevator is labelled.

  • 6.6 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the elevator is labelled.

  • 6.7 - Make sure that the hand rails and pathways are free from thick dust.

  • 6.8 - Is the floor cleaned regularly and free from kernel?

  • 6.9 - Make sure that the spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

7.0 - Grading Drum

8.0 - Ribbon Conveyor (Nut CV, Cracked Mixture CV, Shell CV, Kernel CV)

  • 8.3 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for transmission chain or coupling.

  • 8.4 - Make sure that there is a closed cover for the Ribbon conveyor.

  • 8.5 - Make sure that the motor is not in an oily or wet condition.

  • 8.6 - Make sure that the Ribbon conveyor is labelled.

  • 8.7 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the Ribbon conveyor is labelled.

  • 8.8 - Is the floor cleaned regularly and free from kernel?

  • 8.9 - Make sure that any spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 8.10 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition?

9.0 - Pump (Hydrocyclone Pump, Hydrocyclone Waste Pump)

  • 9.1 - Is the belting guide placed on the pump?

  • 9.2 - Make sure that there is no exposed wire.

  • 9.3 - Make sure that the motor is not in an oily or wet condition.

  • 9.4 - Make sure that the motor's cover is placed securely and properly.

  • 9.5 - Make sure that the pump is labelled.

  • 9.6 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the pump is labelled.

  • 9.7 - Make sure that any spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 9.8 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition?

10.0 - Pit (Hydrocyclone Pit)

  • 10.1 - Are the hand rails on the side of the pit in good condition?

  • 10.2 - Is there any warning sign to prevent anyone from entering the pit?

  • 10.3 - Make sure that there is a closed cover for the pit's drain.

  • 10.4 - Make sure that any spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 10.5 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition?

11.0 - Hydrocyclone

  • 11.1 - Are the hand rails on the side of the hydrocyclone in good condition?

  • 11.2 - Is there any warning sign to prevent anyone from entering the pit?

  • 11.3 - Make sure that any spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 11.4 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition?
