1.0 - Previous Inspection

  • 1.1 - Has the last inspection been reviewed?

2.0 - General Matter

  • 2.1 - Are the unnecessary things removed?

  • 2.2 - Are the frequently used tools / equipments well arranged?

  • 2.3 - Are the floor / platforms / stairs cleaned regularly and free from oil?

  • 2.4 - Is there enough lighting in the station?

  • 2.5 - Make sure that the emergency switch and switch board are turn off before maintenance.

  • 2.6 - Make sure that the fuse is switch off before maintenance.

  • 2.7 - Make sure that the signboard "Caution, maintenance work is in progress“ is place on the switch board before maintenance begins.

  • 2.8 - Are the PPE used during working?

  • 2.9 - Make sure that there is no one near the machines during operation start-up.

  • 2.10 - Are the warning signs placed at the right location?

  • 2.11 - Make sure that there is a pallet covered with rubber underneath the front switch board.

  • 2.12 - Make sure that the switch board is in dry condition (not wet).

  • 2.13 - Is the light fitting in good condition?

  • 2.14 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

3.0 - Digester

  • 3.1 - Make sure that there is no leakage on the steam pipe.

  • 3.2 - Is the steam pipe insulated with insulator such as rock wool or asbestos rope of six feets high?

  • 3.3 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for belting.

  • 3.4 - Make sure that there is no exposed cable wire.

  • 3.5 - Make sure that the manholes for the digester is closed during operation start-up.

  • 3.6 - Make sure that the spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 3.7 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

4.0 - Press

  • 4.1 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for belting.

  • 4.2 - Make sure that there is no leakage on the press

  • 4.3 - Make sure that the handrail is free from oil.

  • 4.4 - Make sure that there is no exposed cable wire.

  • 4.5 - Make sure that the spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 4.6 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

5.0 - Fan & Airlock

  • 5.1 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for coupling.

  • 5.2 - Make sure that there is no exposed cable wire.

  • 5.3 - Make sure that the hand rail is free from thick dust.

  • 5.4 - Make sure that the fan & airlock is labelled.

  • 5.5 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the fan & airlock is labelled.

  • 5.6 - Make sure that the spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 5.7 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

6.0 - Elevator (Nut Elevator)

  • 6.1 - Are the stairs cleaned regularly and free from oil?

  • 6.2 - Make sure that there is no exposed cable wire.

  • 6.3 - Make sure that there is no one near the elevator during operation start-up.

  • 6.4 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for transmission chain or coupling.

  • 6.5 - Make sure that there is a closed cover for the elevator.

  • 6.6 - Make sure that the motor is not in a dusty condition.

  • 6.7 - Make sure that the elevator is labelled.

  • 6.8 - Make sure that the spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 6.9 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

7.0 - Drum (Nut Polishing Drum)

  • 7.1 - Are the stairs cleaned regularly and free from oil?

  • 7.2 - Make sure that there is no exposed wire cable.

  • 7.3 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for transmission chain.

  • 7.4 - Make sure that the nut polishing is labelled.

  • 7.5 - Make sure that there is no one near the polishing drum during operation start-up.

  • 7.6 - Make sure that the spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 7.7 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

8.0 - Ribbon Conveyor (Top Cross CV, Digester Feed CV, Cake Breaker CV, Nut CV)

  • 8.1 - Are the stairs cleaned regularly and free from oil?

  • 8.2 - Make sure that there is no exposed wire.

  • 8.3 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for coupling.

  • 8.4 - Make sure that the motor is not in an oily or wet condition.

  • 8.5 - Make sure that there is a closed cover for the Ribbon conveyor.

  • 8.6 - Make sure that the Ribbon conveyor is labelled.

  • 8.7 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the Ribbon conveyor is labelled.

  • 8.8 - Make sure that there is no one near the Ribbon conveyor during operation start-up.

  • 8.9 - Make sure that the hand rails are free from oil.

  • 8.10 - Make sure that any spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 8.11 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.
