1.0 - Previous Inspection

  • 2.8 - Are the PPE used during working?

  • 2.9 - Make sure that there is no one near the machines during operation start-up.

  • 2.10 - Are the warning signs placed at the right location?

  • 2.11 - Make sure that there is a pallet covered with rubber underneath the front switch board.

  • 2.12 - Make sure that the switch board is in dry condition (not wet).

  • 2.13 - Is the light fitting in good condition?

  • 2.14 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

3.0 - Digester

  • 3.1 - Make sure that there is no leakage on the steam pipe.

  • 3.2 - Is the sterilizer door opened after the pressure gauge reading reached 0 psi?

  • 3.3 - Make sure that there is no blockage in the tell tale pipe.

  • 3.4 - Make sure that the packing on the sterilizer door is not leaking.

  • 3.5 - Is the pressure gauge functioning well?

  • 3.6 - Make sure that the pipe and valve condensate are not leaking.

  • 3.7 - Are the leather gloves worn when opening the sterilizer?

  • 3.8 - Is the steam pipe insulated with insulator such as rock wool or asbestos rope of six feets high?

  • 3.9 - Make sure that there is no one at or near the steam pipe.

  • 3.10 - Make sure that the lighting is adequate or sufficient.

  • 3.11 - Is the light fitting in good condition?

  • 3.12 - Make sure that the spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

  • 3.13 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

4.0 - Loading Ramp

  • 4.1 - Is the drain or floor cleaned regularly and free from oil?

  • 4.2 - Is the speed limit of 15 km/hour followed by the vehicle?

  • 4.3 - Make sure that there is no leakage on the hydraulic pipe.

  • 4.4 - Make sure that the lighting is adequate or sufficient.

  • 4.5 - Make sure that the light fitting is in good condition.

  • 4.6 - Does anyone stand far away from the vehicle while entering or exiting the hopper?

  • 4.7 - Make sure that there is no unsafe act / condition.

5.0 - Scrapper Bar Conveyor (FFB Conveyor, Inclined Sterilize Bunch Conveyor)

  • 5.1 - Are the stairs and platform cleaned regularly?

  • 5.2 - Make sure that there is no exposed cable wire.

  • 5.3 - Make sure that there is a machine guide for the transmission chain.

  • 5.4 - Make sure that there is a closed cover for the scrapper bar conveyor.

  • 5.5 - Make sure that the scrapper bar conveyor is labelled.

  • 5.6 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the scrapper bar conveyor is labelled.

  • 5.7 - Make sure that the motor is not in an oily or wet condition.

  • 5.8 - Make sure that there is no one near the scrapper bar conveyor during the operation start-up.

  • 5.9 - Make sure that the hand rails is free from oil.

  • 5.10 - Make sure that the lighting is adequate or sufficient.

  • 5.11 - Is the light fitting in good condition?

  • 8.4 - Make sure that there is a closed cover for the Ribbon conveyor.

  • 8.5 - Make sure that the motor is not in an oily or wet condition.

  • 8.6 - Make sure that the Ribbon conveyor is labelled.

  • 8.7 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the Ribbon conveyor is labelled.

  • 8.8 - Make sure that there is no one near the Ribbon conveyor during operation start-up.

  • 9.4 - Make sure that the motor is not in an oily or wet condition.

  • 9.6 - Make sure that the emergency switch for the Winch is labelled.

  • 9.7 - Make sure that the spillage is disposed off or recycled back immediately.

10.0 - Transfer Carriage
