ADVICE FOR CONTRACTORS

Advice For Contractors

  • 1. The contractor must ensure that the street cleaning, road, and vehicle management is complied with as per the approved CEMP.

  • 2. The contractor must not commence works that directly affect an existing road without a council approved TMP and must not vary the speed limit of an existing road without an MOA from VicRoads.

  • 3. The contractor must comply with the requirements and intent of the OH&S act and regulations. Council's staff will take action on any observed breaches.

  • 4. No changes to the "approved for construction" set of plans are permitted, unless the council surveillance works officer or council engineers has granted approval.

  • 5. The contractor must view and submit to council the CCTV testing of the full length of all storm water drains handed over to council. All damaged pipes under roads must be repaired and inspected by the council surveillance works officer prior to the road being primed or asphalted.
